World Badminton Day, July 5 | BadmintonScholar announces Badminton Academy of Excellence Award 2022

Badminton World Federation (BWF) will celebrate the very first World Badminton Day this 5 July 2022.

It was over 87 years ago, on 5 July 1934, that the International Badminton Federation (now BWF) was founded.

The theme of the Badminton Academy of Excellance Award ensures a transparent, collective, state-of-the-art, and standard coaching system for future badminton players.

In recognition of this significant date, and to make this a day of celebration for badminton globally, World Badminton Day will be held annually on 5 July.

BadmintonScholar joins with BWF in celebrating World Badminton Day by announcing the Badminton Academy of Excellence Award 2022.

Badminton Academies are encouraged to apply for the BadmintonScholar Academy of Excellence Award 2022 which would be the recognition for the quality services and coaching you rendered during past years.

The theme of the award ensures a transparent, collective, state-of-the-art, and standard coaching system for future badminton players. BadmintonScholar Academy of Excellence Award 2022 will nurture equal sparring players, qualified coaches, sufficient infrastructure, educated trainers & consultants, and standard coaching methods.

BWF President Poul-Erik Hoyer expressed his excitement “World Badminton Day provides a unique opportunity for us to simultaneously celebrate and promote the sport we love.
