This tournament is the major event of the individual players' domestic season, where the very best players in each age group will compete to become the English National Champion.
Badminton England is organizing 2022 Junior National Championships during November and December 2022 for the four different age categories.
Age eligibility of the categories are U19: Born 2004 or later, U17: Born 2006 or later, U15: Born 2008 or later and U13: Born 2010 or later.

Under 13 Nationals 19th – 20th November 2022 National Badminton Centre, Milton Keynes
Under 19 Nationals 25th – 27th November 2022 National Badminton Centre, Milton Keynes
Under 17 Nationals 3rd – 4th December 2022 National Badminton Centre, Milton Keynes
Under 15 Nationals 10th – 11th December 2022 University of Warwick, Coventry
To qualify for the Age Group National Championships a player must have played a minimum of 3 sanctioned circuit tournaments of which 1 must be in the age group of the Championships being entered, except for the U19 National Championships, where there are no qualifying events applicable for entry. Must have a Compete membership upgrade required to be able to enter the competition.
Eligibility Norms
Member of and in good standing with Badminton England.
Does not enter the National Championships of any other Country in the same season.
Has not represented any other BWF Member Association in last three years.
